Jan 29^th – Egg Science

Activity Theme = Are your engineering skills in need of a challenge? For the past few years, the STEM egg drop competition has been a classic staple of our winter camps. Come join us in the tradition and put your critical thinking and planning skills to the test! We’ll supply the materials, you show up for the fun, competition, and hope that your egg-drop-challenge isn’t… “over easy” … see you there!

Martial Art Training = Kicking, Punching and Bag work

Are you ready to take your hands and feet to the next level? Then Blast off with our dynamic Kick-Punch training session! We will cover everything from beginner to advanced kicking and hand techniques, footwork, timing, and accuracy. Be prepared to sweat, we will be covering a wide variety of material that includes stretching, strengthening and overall conditioning. See you there!

 Feb. 15^th – Galaxy Quest

Activity Theme = The classic galaxy game is back by popular demand! Spend the day learning how to use diplomacy, resource management, communication skills, and advanced strategies for this incredibly fun day-long game! But wait, if you think you have mastered this game from before, you’ll be in for a stellar surprise with all new added mechanics that will elevate the game even further. Galaxy Quest is fun, engaging, and appropriate for all ages, so sign up today or you will miss the best round yet!

Martial Art Training = Obstacle Course/Conditioning

Only the fittest can reign supreme in the conquest of the Galaxy! We will be taking your fitness beyond the boundaries of the Universe through strength and skill-based challenges. Anyone who has experienced our obstacle course training knows…. They Are Totally Awesome! This one is guaranteed to be Epic on a cosmic scale, but there is only so much room on Earth, so register Today!

 Feb. 16^th – Theatre Day Camp

Activity Theme = Hear ye, Hear ye, Attention all actors, actresses and thespian! Have you ever wanted to perform or be the star of the show? Have you ever wondered how your favorite stories take life on stage? At this camp day we’ll learn a script, rehearse, and act out an entire play in one day! In this TLK first, find out what it takes to be in a real, live-action play. We’ll learn how to stage fight, deliver lines, and even how to direct a scene! From the curtain call to the Grand finale, don’t miss this creative and engaging camp. We’ll be acting for the stage at TLK!

Martial Art Training = Weapons Practice/ Theatrical Combat

Brave Warriors, our city is being overrun by a hideous horde of villains. It is up to you to raise your swords in defense of what is right and true! In this Camp we will focus on weapons training using Staff, Sword and Nunchucks through three areas of study: Weapon forms, Weapon Fighting and Theatrical combat. Anyone can swing a sword around haphazardly, but do you have the focus to transform your raw energy into razor-sharp skill? The time is now, and the battle ahead will reveal the commitment of your training, See you there!

Week of February 1^st through 5^th

The Minneapolis School district will be getting ready to go back to school, so many early grades will not be in school session this week.  However, some schools and some grades are still in session, so we will be offering a modified Release Day Camp Experience since our School Camp & Afterschool Program also need to continue as normal for everyone else. 

For everyone not in school and looking for a fun, safe place to spend your week off, we are here for you! While your teachers prepare for the return to class, you could be at TLK doing a variety of activities such as follow-along Bob Ross paintings, making fun STEM creations that explore the mechanical universe around us, create colorful melted crayon creations, use different supplies to design creative creepy creatures, or even participate in fun group games! In the afternoon, we will join the normal Afterschool Program so everyone can have fun training, doing more TLK activities, and participating in clubs.  There won’t be a moment of boredom during your week at TLK, so sign up today to reserve your spot!

For everyone already signed up for School Camp and/or Afterschool you are welcome to come on your normal days & times throughout the week without any additional charges.  If you are looking for extra time at the dojang, options are:
